THANK YOU! PEANUT DAY THANK YOU! The Kiwanis Club of Joliet Would like to thank the following sponsors of the 2020 Kiwanis Peanut Day for their generous contributions. This support was even more important this year as our club members were unable to make collections at store fronts and street corners due to Covid-19. These contributions enabled our club to provide much needed funding to many of our local community service organizations such as Easterseals, Guardian Angel Community Services and YMCA as well as many other community organizations. Support from the community during this year's Peanut Days generated donations of over 7,100 bags of peanuts to Operation Care Package which are included in care packages sent to our troops overseas. Kiwanis members were involved in reading program events to distribute free books at local child care centers. Our club is proud to be a sponsor of the Top 25 High School Seniors Annual Recognition Dinner, which honors students from Joliet Catholic Academy, Joliet Central and Joliet West High Schools.
