Forest Preserve District of Will County Island Showcase & Food Truck Friday Friday, July 30 4-8 p.m. Isle a la Cache Museum 501 E. Romeo Road, Romeoville Celebrate completion of the new, outdoor Native American lifeways exhibit as well as other recent improvements around Isle a la Cache preserve. Then tour the American Indian longhouse and stop by the Traders Cabin to step back in time. Isle a la Cache Museum interprets the fur trade era of the 1700s. The showcase celebration will also include a special Food Truck Friday held at the new Island picnic shelter. Exhibits will be open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Food trucks will serve until 8 p.m. The Native American lifeways exhibit is made possible through a Public Museum Capital Grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
