JUNE 19-JULY 25 INSPIRED BY ENDANGERED SPECIES QUILT EXHIBITION ANIMALS AND PLANTS IN FABRIC PERSPECTIVES This national touring exhibition highlights the plight of vulnerable flora and fauna from around the world through 182 colorful 24-inch-by-24-inch handmade, quilted panels. Coordinated by quilter, author and nature lover Donna DeSoto, the collection includes the work of quilters from throughout the country. Four Forest Preserve District of Will County visitor centers will each feature a portion of the exhibit: Four Rivers Environmental Education Center, Channahon; Isle a la Cache Museum, Romeoville; Plum Creek Nature Center, Crete Township; and Sugar Creek Administration Center, Joliet. Exhibit hours are: Mondays, closed; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Thursdays, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sundays, noon-4 p.m. Sugar Creek Administration Center is closed on Sundays.
