C Associated Ophthalmologists, the office of Dr. David Morimoto and Dr. Aras Zlioba, are excited to welcome Dr. Tayaba Azher to their practice. ASSOCIATED OPHTHALMOLOGISTS CON Dr. Tayaba Azher grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and attended Benedictine University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She obtained her medical degree from Saint Louis University. She was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received The Merck Manual Award for academic excellence while in medical school. She underwent internal medicine training at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois and then completed her ophthalmic training at the esteemed University of Minnesota. During residency, she was involved in numerous research projects, medical student teaching as well as volunteering with organizations to provide eye care to the needy. Dr. Azher is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Her interests include Cataract surgery, glaucoma, ocular surface diseases, eyelid procedures and various laser surgeries. She will be joining Associated Ophthalmologists on August 15th 2022. Dr. Azher and her husband, Ali, have two kids, Hasan and Maryam, who are very excited to return back to Illinois.
